Day 4: Beijing → Xi'an After breakfast, transfer to Xi"an. Upon arrival at Xi"an airport, meet your tour guide and have a lunch at local restaurant. This afternoon, you enjoy an exciting half day tour. Proceed to visit The Ming Dynasty City Wall, preserved in best condition. Next stop at the Great Mosque, one of four great Islamic Temples in China, built in 742 AD and the Muslim quarter. Transfer to hotel for check-in and rest of the day is free at leisure. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Xi'an → Guilin After breakfast this morning visit the ancient Shaanxi Province Historical Museum and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. After lunch transfer to Xi"an airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival at Guilin airport, you will be met by your tour guide and privately transferred to your hotel for check-in. (B/L/D)
Day 7: Guilin After breakfast, we will visit the one of China’s masterpieces , The Reed Flute Cave. You won’t believe those stone curtains, pillars, stalagmites flickering into a rainbow of colors. Return to hotel after the tour. (B,L,D)
Day 8: Guilin → Shanghai After breakfast you’re off on a Li River cruise with breathtaking views of the picturesque Guilin landscape. You’ll cruise down to Yangshuo County from Guilin, into a live Chinese ink painting on which there are towering array of Karst mountains, crystal-clear rivers and streams, shades of clouds and fog and idyllic countryside life on both banks. You then fly to Shanghai, China's most populous city and center of trade and industry. This evening, sip a drink as you cruise on the Huangpu River for stunning views of the Bund and Shanghai. Day 9: Shanghai After breakfast, this morning your sightseeing begins at the Yu Yuan Gardens, dating back to the Ming Dynasty. Then, it’s off to learn about the silk-making process at a traditional silk factory. For lunch, stop at a local restaurant for a traditional dim sum feast. This culinary treat originated as a snack centuries ago in roadside teahouses established for weary traders traveling along the Silk Road and hard-working farmers. Today, it has evolved into a full meal featuring a wide variety of steamed buns, dumplings, and mini rice-noodle rolls. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Perhaps visit Nanjing Road, Shanghai's main pedestrian and shopping area with more than 400 stores. This evening, consider joining an optional tour to see a spectacular acrobatic show. (B/L/D)
Day 10: Shanghai After breakfast this morning you will visit the Shanghai Museum, featuring stunning displays of ancient bronze, jade, and ceramics. Then take a walking tour of the former French Concession, once Shanghai's leading residential and retail area, whis is today rich with quaint, tree-lined streets and exquisite architecture to charming shops and fashionable restaurants and bars. Along the way, see the famous Art Deco Cathay Theatre, explore the narrow lanes of Xintiandi, and visit Fuxing Park, where locals play chess, dance, practice tai chi, and more. After breakfast, a fascinating guided walk through Old Havana to admire the ongoing restoration transforming this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Rum Museum. Late morning meeting with Cuban artists at the Experimental Graphic Arts Workshop then lunch at Mercurio. This afternoon, meet with members of the Havana Compas Dance Company and compare notes on the performing arts in Cuba and the U.S. This evening is unplanned; perhaps dinner at a family-run paladar? DAY 4 - TUESDAY | HAVANA / CIENFUEGOS
Drive to Cienfuegos, Cuba’s “Pearl of the South” for cocktails and lunch at the belle époque waterfront Club Cienfuegos. Tour this historic colonial city recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and meet with members of the renowned Chorus of Cienfuegos, then a visit to Benny More School of Arts. Check-in to your hotel and, after dinner at Casa Verde, a fascinating encounter with the uniqueness of the Cuban experiment: meet The Committee for the Defense of the Revolution, whose members form the local neighborhood block committee. DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY | CIENFUEGOS / TRINIDAD

DAY 7 - FRIDAY | HAVANA
This morning, visit the Museum of the Revolution. After, we’ve arranged an excursion to Finca Vigia (“Lookout Farm”) in San Francisco de Paula, Ernest Hemingway’s winter home from 1939 to 1960. See the author’s 9,000 volume library, his yacht “Pilar” and the typewriter on which he wrote some of his greatest works; learn about his life here during a talk with a docent. Travel to Quisicuaba Community Project whose aim is to rehabilitate traditional Cuban Folk culture followed by lunch. Late afternoon drive to visit the Muraleando project. Tonight, dinner at the La Baraca located in the wonderful gardens of the Hotel Nacional. (B,L,D)

DAY 8 - SATURDAY | HAVANA
After breakfast, visit the Antonio Nunez Jimenez foundation. A non governmental institution for culture and science which is dedicated to research and promotion of programs & projects for the protection of the environment as it relates to culture & society. Cocktail and lunch at Don Cangrejo. Drive to nearby Jamanitas to visit the home, studio and community art projects of Jose Rodriguez Fuster, the Cuban native artist specializing in ceramics, painting, drawing, engraving and graphic design. DAY 1 | BUENOS AIRES ARRIVAL
Arrive in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. You will be welcomed by your private guide and transfer to your hotel.

In the afternoon enjoy a panoramic tour of this vivacious city, known as the “Paris of South America.” Drive along Avenida 9 de Julio, the world’s largest boulevard. Continue to Plaza de Mayo with the imposing Presidential Palace, Town Hall and other places of interest in this European-style city; visit the Tomb of Evita Perón at the Recoleta Cemetery. En route drive by the historic Café Tortoni, considered by many to be the finest example of 19th century Buenos Aires, it was selected as one of the ten most beautiful cafes in the world. View the beautiful Teatro Colon Opera House; its design was inspired by the Opera Garnier in Paris.

Back to the hotel for overnight.

DAY 2 | BUENOS AIRES
You will spend the day in the countryside, in a typical ranch (“Estancia”), enjoying a Gaucho-Style Barbecue Lunch, followed by traditional folklore music and dance.

The Estancia Santa Susana, 90 km away from Buenos Aires, has belonged to the Rossiter family since 1860. Its 2,965 acres are devoted mainly to agriculture, but also to cattle and horse breeding. A couple of years ago the place began to receive visitors, and it started to adapt its facilities for that purpose.

There is a Main House and some straw-roofed constructions, with the dining-room, the 'pulpería' (a traditional general store which was a social gathering point for the gauchos at sunset) and the grid iron.

They will welcome you with a drink and some 'empanadas' and later, enjoy a typical Argentine barbecue. After lunch, enjoy a folklore show with live music, dancing and a tango demonstration, followed by 'Cuadreras' ring races where gauchos show their skills as riders. For those willing to participate in the traditional activities there are horses and 'sulkies' (kind of two-wheeled chart) to have a tour. Later on, as snack some home-made pastries and 'mate' (green tea) will be served.

Return to the hotel for overnight. (B)

DAY 3 | BUENOS AIRES / IGUASSU
Transfer to Buenos Aires airport for your flight.

Arrive in Iguazú, where you will be welcomed by an English speaking guide and transfer to the hotel. During the afternoon enjoy an organized tour of the Aboriginal Iriapu Village. This visit is a unique and unforgettable experience to appreciate the Guarani culture with its traditional way of life and connection with nature. In addition, you can see many of their handicrafts, such as carvings, necklaces, baskets, and other many lovely creations of the Guarani. (B)

DAY 4 | IGUASSU
Today enjoy a tour through the park via a sightseeing train. Walk to the highest point of the falls and, among the abundant nature filled with orchids, colorful birds and enjoy the spectacularly unique views of the ‘Cataratas’. The Great Adventure Boat Tour is unique and showcases the essence of the 240 waterfalls and the surrounding Jungle of the Iguassu National Park in one tour. The tour starts by entering the jungle from the “Sendero Yacaratía” trail. After the 8 km ride you will arrive at the floating platform at the Puerto Macuco Base, where you will embark on motorboats and head out on a 6 km ride through the Canyon of the Iguassu River, through the rapids and up to the falls. After enjoying the view from the calm side of the San Martin Island, you will move on to the Três Mosqueteiros Waterfall, where the Brazilian and Argentinean sides of the Garganta do Diabowaterfall can be clearly appreciated. Afterwards, you will get to the wonderful and unforgettable San Martin waterfall, the most exciting part of the tour and the largest waterfall any motorboat can approach safely. Back to the hotel for overnight. (B)

DAY 5 | IGUASSU / EL CALAFATE
Transfer to the airport, in time for your flight to El Calafate. Arrive and transfer to your hotel.

During the afternoon, Visit the Estancia 25 de Mayo. In one of the most stunning natural environments in the world, the establishment has 17,000 hectares of countryside and it is located steps from El Calafate downtown. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the scenery at the foot of the Cerro Calafate, breathing the purest Patagonian air.

After we pick you up at your hotel in El Calafate, we will welcome you in the estancia with mate and fried cakes too. Enjoy a stroll to the path Arroyo Calafate.

DAY 6 | EL CALAFATE
Today you will visit the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier on the southern arm of Lago Argentino, towering 240 feet above the lake level – it’s the world’s largest active glacier.

Enjoy a cruise with spectacular views of this Ice Age relic, declared part of Human Heritage by UNESCO.
